i. "Article" means any object or thing being submitted to PopBox Locker for collection/delivery/return
ii. "Customer" means the user of PopBox Service (individuals, merchants, courier, etc)
iii. PopBox is an man-less automated parcel locker which the article(s) can be delivered/return/collected to/from
iv. "PopBox Account" is the account of the customer whether individual, merchants or courier) in which Customer can access PopBox Locker and all the available services
v. "Service" means the service provided by PopBox for the Customer
vi. "PopBox Asia" is a company under PT PopBox Asia SErvices with the registration number of xxxx, incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia and having its registered office in Jl Let Jend S Parman Kav 22-24, Grand Slipi Tower, 18 J, Jakarta, Indonesia
i. be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of the information of his/her own PopBox Account, including but not limited to passwords to the PopBox Account;
ii. be responsible for all activities that occurs under his/her own PopBox Account
iii. inform PopBox immediately upon unauthorised use of the PopBox Account or password, or any other breach of security in relation to the Customer’s PopBox Account. The Customer will be responsible for losses incurred by PopBox or any third party (including any PopBox user) as a result of the Customer failing to keep his/her information secure and confidential; and
iv. not use another’s PopBox Account or password or allow anyone else to use his/her PopBox Account. The Customer shall be liable for any loss or damage suffered, whether by PopBox or any third party, as a result of any breach of the obligations set out in Clause 2 above.
i. PopBox sends a PIN to the Customer mobile number to unlock the locker, and
ii. the designated PopBox locker is unlocked and opened using the PIN provided.
Narcotics and any psychoactive substances
High valuable items (antiques, art, etc)
Animals & Plants
Fresh/chilled products (vegetables, cold drinks, meat, etc)
Easily breakable items (vase, plates, etc)
Weapons, ammunition and other explosive or flammable
Anything that is wet, leaked, emitting odor, etc
Materials, which could cause health or life risks, as well as material damages
As well as any other items, which transport is forbidden in accordance with statutory law or needs
a special permit to transport
i. all information provided by the Customer for the purpose of use of the Service is true and accurate; and
ii. the Customer shall comply with all instructions and user guidelines supplied by PopBox to the Customer
i. the Customer refuses delivery for any reason including by failing to provide, or provide the correct contact details for PopBox to send a PopBox Locker PIN;
ii. delivery is not paid for;
iii. the article is deemed to be unacceptable for any reason by PopBox, at PopBox’s sole discretion, including (without limitation) where (a) the article is prohibited by law, stated in clause 6 article 2
iv. the article has been undervalued for customs purposes;
v. delivery of the article requires proof of identity;
vi. the article is incorrectly addressed; or
vii. the article is not suitably packaged or is damaged, in which event PopBox may, at its sole discretion, and without notice and without liability to the Customer or any other party, (1) dispose of the article in any manner PopBox deems fit; or (2) deliver the article back to the sender, at the Customer’s cost, provided always that in the case of (iii) above, the Customer shall be liable for any loss or damage suffered by any third party.
i. articles classified as hazardous material, dangerous goods, prohibited or restricted by the International Air Transport Association, the International Civil Aviation Organisation, postal regulations and any applicable government department or other relevant organisation;
ii. if no customs declaration is made when required by applicable customs regulations; or
iii. if PopBox determines that an article cannot be transported safely or legally (including but not limited to animals, bullion, currency, bearer form negotiable instruments, precious metals and stones, firearms (and parts thereof) and ammunition, human remains, pornography and illegal narcotics/drugs. i. the article or articles do not fit into the PopBox locker in accordance with the dimensions
ii. all the relevant PopBox lockers at the particular PopBox location are not available; or
iii. PopBox system is not available for any reason, including but not limited to reasons such as the system being out of service or shut down for maintenance,
i. any indirect or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to the loss of profits, business or anticipated savings);
ii. any delay, loss or damage arising from or in connection with:
a. its failure to perform any of its obligations hereunder if such failure is the result of circumstances outside its control including but not limited to the outbreak of war, any governmental act, explosion, accident, civil commotion, riot, industrial dispute, strike, lockout, stoppages or restraint of labour from whatever cause whether partial or general, weather conditions, traffic congestion, mechanical/system breakdown, obstruction of any public or private road or highway or any other force majeure, fire, flood or any other act of God;
b. any defect in respect of the article, even if known to PopBox when PopBox accepted it.
c. the Customer’s acts of omission, including but not limited to insufficient or improper packing, security or addressing;
d. any action or omission by anyone other than PopBox including but not limited to:
1. the sender of the article;
2. the addressee;
3. the Customer
4. an interested third party;
5. customs or other government officials; and
6. the carrier or other third party contracted by PopBox to serve locations that
e. electrical or magnetic damage to, or erasure of electronic or photographic images or recordings;
f. any loss of secrecy in communication arising from the use of the Service;
g. the hazardous, fragile or brittle nature of the mechanical derangement of the goods; PopBox does not serve directly. PopBox shall not be liable even if the Customer did not ask or know about a third party arrangement.
h. any consequences of delay or confiscation by any competent authority as a result of the discovery of prohibited contents;
iii. delay or non-delivery of the article arising from the detention of the article by the customs or any government authority of the destination country.
